MY FAMILY

My husband, Brandon, & I have been happily married for 8 years and have 2 beautiful twin daughters, Madison & Morgan. The girls turned 7 this past November, and are in 2nd grade at White Oak this year. My husband & I are both from Southeast Texas & moved to East Texas about 6 years ago. We’ve lived in White Oak almost 5 years now & we love it!

EDUCATION

I graduated high school from Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School in Orange, Texas. Upon graduating I attended Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas & graduated with a degree in Information Systems. After graduation, I stayed home with the girls for almost 3 years. I had felt God calling me into teaching for some time and finally answered the call when we moved to East Texas. I attended LeTourneau University’s teacher certification program, and I student taught at White Oak Intermediate under an amazing teacher and mentor, Joy Smith!! This will be my 5th year to teach math here at WOMS…I teach some amazing kids and work alongside some equally amazing teachers!! I really enjoy my job and can’t imagine teaching anywhere else.

HOBBIES

I like to spend time with my daughters… swimming, shopping, going to the park… anything that provides quality time with my girls. My husband & I also enjoy working in the yard & remodeling our house. As a family we enjoy spending time out on the lake. I also enjoy making photo jewelry, scrapbooking, reading and shopping when I get some “me” time.
